A Note for Parents and College Students:

Welcome and greetings from the Vestavia church! We are located within just a few minutes from both UAB and Samford University. We have a number of godly, dedicated students from each university who attend with us every school year. We are an active and growing congregation, committed to following God's Word, and helping each other grow in God's grace and knowledge. Further, we work to provide multiple opportunities for those who join with us to grow, serve, and worship as we seek to glorify God.

Parents are rightly concerned about sending their children away to college. There are many threats to the spiritual well-being of our children, and the college years add many additional concerns. As a church, we actively seek to provide a stronghold of truth for all who are with us. We strive to integrate our college students into the body here so that they are part of our family. We work to teach, train, and provide effective resources to help our members in building up faith while living in a world that is actively trying to turn people from the truth.

We are committed to God and His Word. We believe in the accuracy of Scripture, and we are dedicated to sound doctrine. We also strive for excellence in all that we do. To that end, our Bible classes are designed to be biblical, balanced, and practical, combining depth of study with real-world applications.
